Three Inventory Optimization Solutions (IOS) customers are on the list of healthcare organizations recognized by Intalere for their 2018 Annual Achievement Awards. Every year, Intalere recognizes provider organizations that have succeeded in improving supply chain efficiencies, patient satisfaction, quality of services and revenue optimization. Using the Envi® supply chain management solution from IOS, Copper Ridge Surgery Center in Traverse City, Mich., Crystal Run Health in Middletown, N.Y., and Miravida Living in Oshkosh, Wis., have improved supply chain automation, and today are streamlining purchasing processes and reducing overall costs for greater efficiency.

“In this era of disruptive change within the healthcare industry, it is more important than ever to not only recognize the successful initiatives that providers are implementing to enhance their services, patient outcomes and bottom line, but to also share these best practices with others,” said Julius Heil, Intalere president and CEO, in an announcement made March 22, 2018.

The team at IOS shares this commitment to identifying and sharing best practices. Each quarter, a provider organization using the Envi® solution from IOS is selected as a Best Practice Award recipient, and recognized for their advancement of supply chain practices. Quarterly award case studies are documented to help other organizations benefit from the successful innovation of each recipient.

Steve Britt, managing partner, IOS, said the Intalere awards help to demonstrate the impact that technology is having on improving cost, quality and outcomes in both acute and non-acute healthcare organizations.

“We’re so pleased to see several of our customers among those being recognized for success in improving supply chain efficiencies,” said Britt. Award recipients are also recognized for patient satisfaction, quality of services and revenue optimization. “Continual improvement in healthcare is being driven by organizations using technology to improve performance and patient care. It’s through the collaborative spirit of these innovative organizations that we’re finding more effective ways to deliver high quality care at lower costs.”
